Difficulty: Moderately Challenging
Things You’ll Need:
- Sims 2, Sims 2 Holiday DVD Edition or Sims 2 Deluxe Edition
- Sim with a creativity level of at least 5
- Photo or picture program
- Stored personal photos or pictures
Step1
Direct your Sim to paint by clicking on an easel and selecting "Paint Still Life." A yellow box will appear. Move the box around to frame the item or area you want your Sim to paint. Press "C" to capture the area and pause the game.
Step2
Press "Alt + Tab" to close the game screen. Open your picture program and locate the snapshot you just took. The picture is stored in "C:MyDocuments\EAGames\TheSims2\Storytelling\snapshot.bmp."
Step3
Locate the personal photo you want your Sim to paint. Right click on the photo to copy it and paste it over the snapshot displayed in your picture program. If your photo is too large, resize it to fit the snapshot.
Step4
Click "File-Save" to save the new photo over the Sims 2 snapshot.
Step5
Press "Alt + Tab" to return to the game. Once you resume the game, your Sim will begin painting your personal photo. Once the painting is finished, sell it to earn extra money or hang it on the wall.
