If you are an avid football player, consider playing intramural football. Intramural football is a great way to not only exercise but also meet new people. Additionally, you don't have to be a great football player to join an intramural football team.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Find the department at your college or university that handles intramural sports registration. If you are unsure, the best place to look is on the website of your college or university. Once on the website, you can either search for "intramural sports," or you can click on the sports section of the website and look for further information. If you can't find it online, call the student information center of your school.

  2. Step 2

Decide whether you are going to start your own intramural football team or would rather just join a team that already exists. By joining an existing team, you can take away much of the hassle that goes into being in charge. However, if you wish to have the final say in team matters, starting your own team would be the way to go. Also, by starting your own team, you may be able to pick the players you want to be on your team.

  3. Step 3

Register for intramural football. Some colleges and universities charge a registration fee. This fee could be a relatively large amount of money, so it's best to check the price of registration before you go to signup. Also when you register, you may be asked to sign an injury waiver form that makes your college or university not liable for any injury you may sustain on the football field.

  4. Step 4

Practice with your teammates. While practicing, you not only improve your game, but also make friends with your teammates. Once your team has a few practices on its belt, you'll be ready to start your intramural football season.
