Quiznos restaurants are quick service sandwich shops located throughout the world. The menu choices include subs, soups, salads and bread bowls, which are all made to order. Purchasing a Quiznos franchise will give you the opportunity to own your business and receive company support.

Difficulty: Moderately Challenging
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Investigate all of the company requirements to purchase a Quiznos franchise online at quiznosfranchise.com. Assess the franchise opportunity to make sure that it is the right one for you.

  2. Step 2

Visit several Quiznos locations and talk to the franchise owners about their restaurant experiences and dealings with the parent corporation. Attend a Quiznos franchise information seminar, if there is one in your area.

  3. Step 3

Determine if you qualify as a future Quiznos franchise owner. The Quiznos Corporation requires that franchise applicants have a net worth of $125,000 and a liquid net worth of $70,000.

  4. Step 4

Submit your franchise application to the Quiznos Corporation by fax, mail or online. This application will include information about your personal net worth.

  5. Step 5

Write your business plan and contact a lawyer that specializes in business franchises.

  6. Step 6

Look for a third-party lender to finance the initial start-up costs, which will range from $190,000 to $250,000 for a restaurant that is 1200 to 1500 square feet. This fee does not include any real estate or lease fees.

  7. Step 7

Work with Quiznos field representatives and real estate brokers to locate an appropriate site for your restaurant that meets their specifications.

  8. Step 8

Begin your training. You'll attend the Quiznos University in Denver, Colorado, and also spend 3 weeks at a regional training store. Here you will learn everything you need to run your franchise.

  9. Step 9

Understand that your franchise will benefit from the Quiznos Corporation's advertising campaigns. However, you will be charged a 1% national advertising rate and a 3% regional advertising fee.

  10. Step 10

Continue to receive ongoing support from the Quiznos Corporation in the areas of training, marketing and operations. The support will be in the form of store visits, national and regional meetings, newsletters and a Quiznos help line. Quiznos franchise owners are charged a 7% royalty fee by the parent corporation
