Instructions

    • 1

Add a pot to your table with pink flowers as a centerpiece. Paint a terra-cotta pot pink or red and cover it in clear varnish. Place floral foam in the center of the pot and stick in pink, red and white faux silk flowers.

    • 2

Make heart shapes to cling to your windows by drawing an outline of a heart onto aluminum foil or the waxy side of wax paper with white glue. Fill in the heart with the glue and mix in a little red food coloring with a toothpick. Put a little bit of glitter onto the heart while it is still wet, if desired. Peel the heart off when the glue is dry and apply a small amount of water to the smooth side. Stick it to a window or mirror.

    • 3

Purchase a heart-shaped candle mold to make a heart candle for decoration. Melt paraffin wax in a double boiler over low heat until the wax is liquid, stir in a few drops of candle dye to make the candle red or pink and add a little candle fragrance if desired. Pour the wax into your mold and wait for the candle to become half-set before inserting a wick into the wax.

    • 4

Cut out hearts from construction paper to hang about the room. You can trim them with lace or glue them on doilies to make them extra pretty.

    • 5

Draw hearts and color them with paint, markers, crayons and glitter. Hang them around the room.
