1
Speak with a trained Apple computer assistant about notebook computers. Go to the Apple website, call 1-800-MY-APPLE or walk into an Apple Store to find assistance in purchasing your MacBook.
-
2
Decide what color MacBook you want--the matte black or the classic shiny white. The black notebook costs more and is only available with a larger processor and hard drive.
-
-
3
Pick the desired processor, hard drive and memory. Choose from a 2.0GHz or 2.16GHz Intel Core Duo processor, up to 2GB memory and up to 200GB hard drive.
-
4
Choose between a 24x slot-loading DVD-rom/CDRW combo drive and a 8x slot-loading DVD+-R DL/DVD+-RW/CD-RW SuperDrive.
-
5
Consider the 13 inch glossy screen, 1.08 inch thickness, 5.2 lb. weight, Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950, built-in iSight web camera and wireless and Bluetooth capabilities when making your decision. The MacBook also comes standard with basic programs such as iLife.
-
6
Configure your MacBook with memory up to 2GB, hard drive up to 200GB, Apple USB modem, video capabilities, MagSafe Airline Adapter and pre-installed Apple software.
-
7
Purchase a MacBook and open the box to find, along with the computer, a 60W MagSafe Power Adapter, AC wall plug and power cord, lithium-polymer battery, Apple Remote, Install/Restore DVDs and printed and electronic documentation.
