How to Use Snooze Button

Most clocks come with a little button on the top of the clock called the snooze button. It is called snooze because it gives you about 10 minutes before it makes the alarm go off again. This is time for you to snooze. Use the snooze button to wake up slowly.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy
Step1
Set your clock alarm to go off about 30 minutes earlier than you need to get up. Most people push the snooze button three times, so in order to get up on time set the clock for 6:30 AM instead of 7.
Step2
Press down on the snooze button when the alarm goes off. Do not use the alarm at the main switch or it will not buzz again.
Step3
Make sure you know how many times your snooze button will make your alarm go off. Most clocks have the snooze programmed at seven times. If you go beyond this, your alarm will not go off again and you will be late for your morning appointment.
Step4
Try to remember to look at the time before hitting the snooze button again. If you only set your clock ahead 30 minutes and you use all seven snoozes, you will be late.
Step5
Remember that no matter how many times you use the snooze button, you still have to get up. You need to have enough time to perform your morning ritual. Do not misuse the snooze button and leave yourself without time to shower, eat breakfast and whatever other things you do in the morning.
