Shut off the water supply to the bathroom before loosening any water connections. Do not pull on the unit body until the water is turned off.

Disconnect the water supply lines and the drain from the unit. Take the faucet off if it is connected through the back of the unit.

Drill or cut out the plastic rivets holding the old unit in place. Use a utility knife to cut along the edges of the unit to break the seal of caulk. Pull the unit from the wall carefully.

Assemble the drain into the new unit. Screw it loosely into place. Set the new unit into place using a level to help place it correctly. Wooden shims can be used to help keep the unit in position.

Secure the fiberglass shower unit to the wall using screws and hardware for the particular unit you have.

Connect the water supply lines to the water connections. Install the P-trap under the unit by checking for fitment. After proper fitment is found, install the P-trap and other fittings using cement glue. Finish installing the drain at this time also.

Apply caulk around the edges of the unit to make sure water doesn't get behind it. Allow 24 hours for the caulk to dry before getting wet.
