Gamblers have more opportunities than ever to risk their money. Las Vegas used to be the place to go, and then there was Atlantic City. Today you'll find casinos are in Connecticut, Arizona, Pennsylvania and many other states. So if you want to spend some time in a casino, you're not lacking for options.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Step1
Determine what you can afford to lose. Set a limit on how much you will gamble. If that runs out you should walk away. Don't lose more than you can afford.
Step2
Find other activities besides gambling. You may want to take in a show or eat dinner or just walk the boardwalk. The atmosphere of the casino is interesting and watching other people play can be entertaining.
Step3
Limit your stay. If you are there for a day, plan on a time to leave and stick to it even if you are winning. Stipulate an upper limit so you can walk away while you're ahead. That's hard to do, but the odds are always with the house. The longer you play, the more inevitable it is that you will lose.
Step4
Visit a casino online. This can be more practical. You don't have to worry about locating or driving to a casino. The other advantage to visiting a casino online is that some of them are free. You won't win anything, but you won't lose either.
