The menus for many chain restaurants are now providing items with relatively low to moderate fat and calorie counts. The following steps will help you and your family to eat healthy meals at your local Steak-Out.

    Let your child order a Steak-Out Kid's Meal of Chicken Nuggets a la Carte that has 259 calories and 14.6 grams of fat. Try to steer them away from the Steak-Out Kids Meal Cheeseburger with sauce, bun, American cheese, potato chips, ketchup, mustard, mayo packets and 4 oz of applesauce. It has 789 calories and 48.2 grams of fat.
