How to Use a Wet Saw
To carry out more complicated tile work such as diagonal cuts, you should use a wet saw. This saw has a shallow pan filled with water and a diamond infused blade which goes through the water. This keeps the blade cool and reduces the amount of dust caused by the saw. Does this Spark an idea?

1
Use a grease pencil to mark the area on the tile where you plan to cut. You need to move the rip fence to make the blades line up with the mark on your tile. Use the scale at both ends to adjust the rip fence to insure a straight cut.

Next, hold the tile against the fence and push gently. Turn the saw off once the tile is past the blade. You may now remove the tile.

Use a triangle attachment as a guide for the tile if you need to make a more complicated diagonal cut. You need to mark the tile and set the fence as normal. Next, hold the triangle between the tile and the fence. This places the blade at the mark on the tile. Apply slight pressure to the tile to help guide it along the blade.

Use the blade to carefully remove any small chips of tile that may remain.
