Etsy.com is a great way to begin selling your craft products online for more interested crafters to see and have the opportunity to purchase. All you need to get started is an Etsy selling account and a few products to start selling. Before you know it, you'll be on your way to your own craft business.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Sign in your Etsy seller account.

  2. Step 2

Go to Your Etsy using the link at the top left hand corner of the screen. The next page will give the next link.

  3. Step 3

On the left handed tool bar, click on "Add Item." This link will be located under Items. This will begin the process to add an item to your Etsy shop.

  4. Step 4

Fill out the item information. You will need to create an item title and a description for the item that you are going to list as well as the materials that were used in the item. Make sure to include all the information that you want. When you are done, click the green Next button at the bottom of the page to go to the next step.

  5. Step 5

Next add all the tags for the item. Tags can include any materials that the item is made out of, what it is going to be used for, and anything else that the item could be searched for. The more tags that use, the more searches that an item will show up in.

  6. Step 6

Enter the selling information. This includes what you want the item to sell for and the shipping that your going to charge. Make sure that the prices you list account for all the materials that you will have to buy for the item, shipping packaging, and shipping prices.

  7. Step 7

The next step is adding the photos. You can add up to five photos. You will want your photos to show off your item to its best advantage and have a selection of photos of the item. The more eye catching the photos of your item are, the more people that will notice them.

  8. Step 8

The final step is to review the listing and post it up on your shop. You will want to look at the listing carefully to make sure that nothing is wrong with the post or pictures. Finally click "Finish" to post it to your shop. You will now have a new item on Etsy.
