How to Pass Statistics Without Studying

Statistics class in college can be a difficult class. But, it does not have to be that way. Believe it or not, it is even possible to pass statistics without studying.

Instructions

    • 1

Attend all of your statistics class. Being in class will show your professor that you are interested in learning. It will also help you learn the material that your professor thinks is important. These will both help you pass your statistics class.

    • 2

Pay attention in class. You will want to learn as much as you can during your statistics class so you don't have to spend your time outside of class studying and learning the material. This means that you need to pay attention to everything that your professor is saying. Try to focus on the material presented and process it in your head as you hear it.

    • 3

Take notes in your statistics notebook. Taking notes, even if you don't refer to them later during studying, will still help you. Writing down information will assist you in remembering the material. If you take good notes during class, you will likely be able to pass your statistics class.

    • 4

Ask your professor questions during class. Some professors will have a question and answer session at the end of each class, and others will let you ask questions during the lecture itself. Make sure that you get all of your questions answered so you don't have to spend time outside of class trying to figure out the answers on your own.

    • 5

Do your statistics homework. Homework will count towards your statistics grade in most statistics classes. You will want to do the best you can so even if you don't get great grades on your examinations, your homework can help pull your overall grade up to a passing level.

Tips & Warnings

  • You may choose to ask your professor questions outside of class during his office hours instead of in class.

  • Be prepared when you come to your statistics class. Bring your statistics textbook, a pencil with eraser, your statistics notebook and a calculator.

  • If you do have a statistics textbook, take the time to read or skim the text.

I just recently took a stats course and it is possible to pass the class without studying. I want to accentuate that you have to score high on the exams and turning in most of the homework. You should get a low B or high C, if you do just that. I got a B.
