How to Pass Organic Chemistry Without Studying

Organic chemistry is a class that is usually required for chemistry majors, biology majors and pre-med students. Studying organic chemistry will help you get a passing grade, no doubt. But, if you can't study or simply don't want to, you can still pass. Here's what you can do to try and get a passing grade in organic chemistry without studying.

1. Attend all of your organic chemistry laboratory sessions and lectures. Being in class is one of the best things you can do in trying to get a passing grade. Some professors even count attendance as part of your grade. If this is the case, don't miss a class or laboratory session and you'll get a passing grade anyway.

2. Listen to your professor during class. You will want to get as much out of your organic chemistry classes and laboratory sessions as possible. This will minimize the amount of time that you have to spend outside of class on the course. Pay close attention and try your best to remain focused.

3. Take notes during class. You will want to take notes in your organic chemistry notebook. Your notes may include definitions, chemical formulas and structures and rules of organic chemistry. Writing information down is a good way to help you remember the information. If you take good notes, the note taking will help you achieve your passing grade.

4. Read your organic chemistry textbook. If your professor assigns you sections to read, it would be advisable to read those sections, or at the minimum, skim those sections. You don't have to read your text to pass organic chemistry, but it can be a big help.

5. Complete your homework and laboratory assignments. In most organic chemistry classes, homework and lab work will contribute to your overall grade. If you are not going to study for your organic chemistry exams and quizzes, you will want to do the best you can on your homework and lab work. This can help pull your grade up to a passing level.

6. Ask questions of your organic chemistry professor. Before taking exams, make sure the professor has answered all of your questions. You can ask questions during class or even outside of class. If you have your questions answered, you won't really have to study to get a passing grade in organic chemistry.
