It's your job to set up the groom's last party as a single guy. So you get the idea that in the middle of a night of drinks and ladies, you can get your guests to sing karaoke. If you can choose the right music, you might be able to turn this bachelor party into a drunken stag version of American Idol.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Know what the favorite music of the groom and guests is. This way, you can make sure you pick songs they'll like and will be willing to sing.

  2. Step 2

Find a store that specializes in karaoke music. Chain music stores probably won't have much karaoke selection. Check local information listings under music stores.

  3. Step 3

Ask a store representative for selection advice. If the store specializes in karaoke, the employees should have some knowledge on the subject. They could help pick songs guys are willing to sing.

  4. Step 4

Look for songs that are easy to sing. The guests won't get the nerve to sing if they're not sure they can get the words down somewhat.

  5. Step 5

Take the bachelor party's theme into account. Choosing a set of songs that fit the party setting can help the guests get in the mood to sing.

  6. Step 6

Make sure you have the right equipment to go with the music. You'll likely need a karaoke machine, or a stereo that can connect to a microphone. However, you might be able to get by with just music if the guys can sing loud enough.

Tips & Warnings
  • Above all else, make sure the groom and guests want karaoke at the party.
