Step1
Research the different locations. Couples has resorts in Ocho Rios, Sans Souci and Negril. Of the two in Negril, the Swept Away resort is a bit more secluded than the Couples Negril resort.

Book your trip early. The Couples website offers special packages and deals for early travel. Couples also has a place on their website to help you locate travel agents. Or, you can use other Internet sites such as Allinclusiveoutlet.com to book your travel.
Step3
Make sure you have your passport when flying to Jamaica. If you're recently married and on a honeymoon, bring a copy of your marriage license so that you can cash in on your complimentary bottle of champagne and 30-minute massage. If you plan to be married at the resort, set up an appointment with your Couples wedding planner before you arrive. Getting married at Couples includes a wedding cake, the planner's services, a minister and a massage before the wedding. Double-check the documents you'll need to be married in Jamaica on the Couples website before you go.
Step4
Find your way to the Couples airport lounge upon arrival in Jamaica. There they offer you complimentary drinks as you wait for your shuttle to the resort. Checking in at the resort requires a $250 refundable deposit and a credit card. You'll also be asked for your return flight information. Couples also provides a shuttle back to the airport.
Step5
Take some money with you to cover other expenses. Even though Couples is all-inclusive, there are still times you'll need cash. You'll need money if you purchase souvenirs or go on excursions. You don't need to tip any Couples employee, but you should tip airport bag handlers, bus drivers for excursions, photographers and caddies (which are required if you golf). Also, you pay for any spa services or anything you purchase in the on-site shops.

Dress for the weather. You don't have to be formal at Couples. Beach attire and vacation clothes are fine. However, there are opportunities to get gussied up with your sweetie, so pack a few nicer outfits. Men should have collared shirts and closed-toe shoes.
Step7
Enjoy your time doing what you like. Relax by the water, enjoy the 24-hour food service and drink as many Pina Coladas as you can stand. Take advantage of the kayaks, sailboats and snorkeling events available. If you're so inclined, get bare and burned on one of the nude beaches. If looking at the nether regions of anyone besides your honey isn't your idea of vacation, don't fret; Couples keeps the nude beach well isolated from the more modest beach-goers.
