1
Put the outfit together. Draco Malfoy wears the traditional Hogwarts uniform. This uniform consists of a long black robe, a white-collared shirt, a gray sweater, black dress pants, black socks and black leather lace-up dress shoes. Search closets at home and thrift stores for these school basics. Robe patterns are available at fabric stores, just purchase the correct amount of thin black fabric to make the robe.

2
Find some Slytherin accessories. Draco Malfoy is known for his Pureblood Mania and his extreme Slytherin pride, so find a silver and green tie or make one by painting silver stripes with fabric paint on a green tie. A green and silver Slytherin scarf will add to Draco's Slytherin House pride. This can be done at home by using several yards of green felt and painting on silver stripes with fabric paint. Let the paint dry and then cut some fringe on the ends.

3
Locate a wand. Like any great wizard-in-training, Draco must have a wand. Because Draco Malfoy's costume is not complete without a wand, so make one by finding a nice-sized tree branch and cut it to size. Sand the ends of the new wand to make sure there are no splinters.

Style the hair. Draco Malfoy is known for his platinum blond hair as well as his Slytherin pride. If not lucky enough to have this type of hair, a short blond wig can be bought at any costume shop. The hair can be slicked back or worn straight. Check out costume accessories at Wal-Mart or a costume shop for spray-in platinum hair color for a temporary Malfoy look.
