Robot combat is an event in which robots that are designed by everyday people compete in a battle-to-the-death match. The robots weigh anywhere from 2 to 488 pounds. This event gives people a chance to show off their skills of invention. Part of robot combat is battling the other robots with offensive moves. Follow these steps to learn robot combat offense.

Difficulty: Challenging
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Flip the opponent upside down. This can jar the other robot, disabling it. If the opponent is well made, it might not affect it unless you throw it onto a hazard in the arena that might cause it to get hung up.

  2. Step 2

Ram the other robot repeatedly. Ramming it while also shoving it around the arena can cause the opponent to suffer extensive damage. Before you use your robot as a combat weapon for offense, make sure it can handle the jarring that is caused by ramming the opponent.

  3. Step 3

Throw fast moving objects, such as fly wheels. This can slow down an opponent of any size and possibly cause it to become disabled. These methods of offense can only be used occasionally though as they often need time to recharge.

  4. Step 4

Cut through the opposing robot using cutting weapons. This is rather difficult as you have to land the cutting weapon on a fast moving robot. If you do make contact though, it will cause severe damage to your opponent.

  5. Step 5

Pierce your opponent in robot combat using weapons specially designed to pierce. These can include pinchers and punches. These are very hard to use as they require a very accurate hit on a speedy robot in order to render it disabled.
