  • Wooden jewelry box
  • Lacquer
  • Fine sand paper
  • Damp cloth

  1. Step 1

Sand the surface of the wooden jewelry box with light sand paper. Wipe the box clean with a damp cloth to remove all dust particles. Dry the box.

Paint the box with your choice of colors. Use faux finishing techniques to make the box look decorative. Leave the area of the box where the glass will go unpainted.

Paint the leading lines with leading paint. Let the leading paint dry completely.

  6. Step 6

Paint the stained glass design with your chosen colors. Let the glass dry thoroughly.

Glue the glass, painted surface down, onto the box. Glue cording around the perimeter of the glass to finish it off.
