Open the Print Shop Deluxe program from the icon on your desktop or by selecting the program from the "Start" menu. When you open Print Shop Deluxe a small window with a list of options appears.

Click the "Create a Project" button. Choose "Signs" from the list provided. Select the "Customize a Quick Start Layout" and then click "Next."

Type the kind of sign you want to make in the Search box and click "Go."

Browse the templates to find the one you like. Double-click it to select it.

Change the text in the layout by double-clicking the text. Replace it with your own text. Adjust the font size, alignment and style from the toolbar at the top of your screen.

Add photos or clip art to your sign by choosing the "Insert" tab on the toolbar. Scroll through the pictures or clip art available to find what you want to use.

Preview the sign by clicking the "Print Preview" option under the "File" menu. Review the sign to make sure everything is aligned correctly and that all of your text appears on the page.
