3. Subscribe to your area newspapers. Many newspapers will have sale ads on the weekends that will advertise seasonal sales.

4. Ask to be put on the mailing list of your favorite shops when you are shopping in their stores. Tell them that you would be interested in receiving any mailing materials or sale ads.

5. Visit your favorite shops when you are out running errands or out in town. Most shops will have advertisements in the windows or inside their stores telling customers about sales and specials.

6. Become friends with all of the shops that you purchase your goods and gifts at the most. By being a frequent customer, you are sure to know when all of the best sales are.
