Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Step1
Find good classical music on FM stations, such as National Public Radio (NPR), or buy an iPod and download your favorite classical tunes.
Step2
See the "Resource" list below for all kinds classical music to exercise with as you walk, run outside or on the treadmill, lift weights, stretch, bicycle, do yoga and/or pilates.
Step3
Start a group with exercise buddies who love classical music. Find a dance studio or gym where you can use the place during "off" hours. Put together a routine of exercises and turn on your classical music for background music, or use more energetic pieces to move with.
Step4
Take a music appreciation class at a local college to gain a greater understanding and repertoire for classical music.
Step5
Take a ballet or modern dance class. If you choose modern dance, practice dance moves on your own time using classical music.
Step6
Go to that local gym or dance studio during "off" hours and you might have the entire floor and place to yourself. Turn on the classical music and use the entire dance floor to move, swoop, jump and swing with the classical movements, waltzes and marches. The amount of fun you'll have is only limited by your imagination, and physical prowess and capability.
