NASCAR racing is one of the fastest growing sports in America. With the explosion in the popularity of the sport has come the increased competition in fantasy NASCAR. When a person plays fantasy NASCAR it adds another level of excitement to race days. By playing, a fan has yet another reason to cheer their favorite NASCAR driver on.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Assemble a group of friend or relatives to form a league to compete. Now while joining a league filled with family and friends is not necessary, it does make the league and competition more spirited. A person can just join an online league and compete, but the anonymity makes the competition less intense.

  2. Step 2

Decide the compensation for league champion. Some leagues have each member pay an entrance fee and then at the end of the year the championship gets the majority of the collected funds. Compensation is not necessary to have a great time; sometimes bragging rights will suffice.

  3. Step 3

Determine the league-hosting method. It is possible to make up a league and scoring from scratch. However, it is recommended that a person sign up to an Internet site that hosts on-line fantasy NASCAR.

  4. Step 4

Establish the scoring system for the fantasy NASCAR league. Some Internet sites allow a user to establish his own scoring system. The amount of spare time a person has determines which option is best. Obviously establishing a personalized scoring system is more time consuming.

  5. Step 5

Select the NASCAR drivers to draft. This will depend on the persons' draft position. Be sure to take into account any off-season activity like a driver changing teams or certain changes in rules that benefits one driver over others.

  6. Step 6

Sit back and enjoy a great year of NASCAR excitement! Hopefully, the drivers that were chosen will have an excellent year and the fantasy NASCAR championship wil be yours at the end of the season.
