There are many pain relieving essential oils, many essential oils that are great for back problems. When choosing an essential oil for back problems, you may want to look the causes of your back problems. If stress is a cause, you may want an essential oil that is also a stress reliever. If it is only an injury causing the back problem, a basic pain relieving essential oil will be best.

  1. Step 1

    Have a professional masseuse use the raindrop technique. In the raindrop technique 7 essential oils and 2 therapeutic oils are gently dropped onto the skin and then gently massaged in. Often a warm, damp towel is then placed onto the back to ensure the essential oils are absorbed.
