The Master Cleanse Diet is also called the Lemonade Diet. It isn't a diet to make you lose weight--it's a cleansing diet to rid your body of toxins. It takes about two weeks without food--only liquids. Follow these steps to do the Master Cleanse Diet.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Senna tea
  • Water
  • Lemons
  • Hand-held or electric juicer
  • Organic grade B maple syrup
  • Cayenne pepper
  • Colon-cleansing saline wash
  1. Step 1

Get a good book on the Master Cleanse Diet and follow its directions. You will need to modify the diet according to your body's needs.

  2. Step 2

Plan to go for two weeks without food and only liquids. Make sure you don't have any feasting or holiday plans on your schedule during this time.

  3. Step 3

Purchase the items you need for your diet. You will need senna tea, lemons, water, a hand-held or electric juicer, organic grade B maple syrup and cayenne pepper. You will also use a colon-cleansing saline wash.

  4. Step 4

The cleanse will make you have frequent bowel movements. So you should plan to be near a toilet, especially for the first hour after waking. You can modify the amount of tea drinking and saline washes to allow for your rate of cleansing.

  5. Step 5

The diet will make you crave toxic foods. You will crave the toxic food as your body is detoxifying from it. This craving will pass, probably the following day, with your bowel movement.

  6. Step 6

Ease off slowly from the Master Cleanse Diet. If you start eating toxic food right away it may make you sick. Start slow with a healthy diet, adding one food at a time.

Tips & Warnings
  • This diet is cleansing, not a weight-loss diet. So don't be shocked when you gain half of your weight back afterward.
  • Check with your doctor before beginning this diet, especially if you have any health problems.
