How to clean inside a container with a small opening

For most of us, cleaning the inside of such containers is nearly impossible, despite the fact that we want to re-use the container. You will no longer be left in a dilemma of whether to throw it away and buy another one, or just use it while it is unclean.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

• Any kind of detergent
• A cup of Gravel
• A handful of small stones
• A cup of sand
• Water

1. Pour warm water with the detergent, sand, stones and gravel into the container.
2. Shake the container vigorously for as long as it takes for all the grime to dislodge from the bottom and the sides.
3. Rinse the container thoroughly and it is ready to use.

Tips & Warnings

• A disinfectant would also help in killing any germs in the container.
• Always make sure the container is properly rinsed especially if it is to be used to store liquids for consumption.
