Things You'll Need:
- vinyl zippered mattress bag.
- waterproof mattress pad.
- shower curtain liner.
- waterproof bed pads.
- tuckables.
- draw sheet.
-
Step 1
If you have a zippered waterproof mattress bag start with that. If you don't, you can use a shower curtain liner over the top of the mattress.
-
Step 2
Next you will put on the waterproof mattress pad, followed by the fitted sheet.
-
Step 3
Now you will put the tuckable waterproof pads across the middle of the bed as shown below.
-
Step 4
The next step is to put the drawsheet across the pads and tuck it all in.
-
Step 5
Now that the bottom part of the mattress is protected, you can finish making the bed as you normally would do.
-
Step 6
For this article I have chosen the disposable waterproof pads, but you may prefer to use the cloth washable kind.
-
Step 7
Ca-Rezz is a good product for incontinence. The spray works as a no rinse body wash to control odor. The cream protects the skin from moisture guarding against bed sores.
