Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

You want to wait until a day when the weather is good and its not to windy outside. Using your paint sprayer on a windy day can cause over spray.

  2. Step 2

When painting anything outside you will want to prepare the surface of the cement siding. You can doing this with a power washer or just a plain water hose and a broom. Make sure you get all the dirt off of the siding.

  3. Step 3

Next is to use masking tape and cardboard to cover your windows, doors and any other areas you do not want painted.

  4. Step 4

Next pour the concert sealant into your paint sprayer. A good sealant can be bought at most hardware stores. Make sure you get enough for two coats. This seals the cement surface and doesn't allow it to absorb the paint. Without using the sealant the cement siding will soak up paint like a sponge. Using a paint sprayer allows you to easily coat the entire surface. Remember to use your mask or ventilator so you don't breath in the paint.

  5. Step 5

After the first coast of sealant drys, add a second coat. Don't forget to get all of the edges.

  6. Step 6

Now it is time to add the first coat of paint. Make sure you clean your paint sprayer before pouring in the paint. Again make sure you cover the entire surface evenly.

  7. Step 7

Let the first coat of paint dry completely before adding the second coat. Remember to spray the paint evenly over the surface.

  8. Step 8

After the second coat drys you can go back and touch up places you may have missed. Using the paint sprayer you can easily touch up.

  9. Step 9

The last step is to pull off all the tape and card board you used.
