This article is to design a graffiti throwie. These are also sometimes called a throw up. Or a throw. They are mainly used for "getting up" or bombing. Basically getting your name up.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderate

Things You’ll Need:

  • spraypaint
  • pen
  • paper

Step1
The letters KR. First Outline My photos are just with pen and paper because i do not condone illegal graffiti. But a lot of the technique transfers over. Most throws are done with bubble letters and overlap somewhat. So after you sketch a while and come up with some letters that looks half descent and a little style you can start getting up. The first thing to do is to do a first outline in the color you plan to do your fill in.
Step2
See how bad it looks if you dont go back and forth? Then using a fat cap, (you have to buy these online or at a graff shop or something. My personal favorite is the Rusto Fat. New York Fats are also good, orange dots. Try out a few and figure out what is your favorite) do the fill. The fill is done by going side to side. If you go in every which way its going to look bad (even with spray paint).
Step3
Outline and 3d Now outline your Throw in another color. If you want you can change your cap to an outline cap. Then add a drop shadow.
Step4
The Last Outline Lastly to make it stand out you can do an additional outline around the whole thing to make it stand out.
Step5
Run.
