Things You'll Need:
- digital camera for experimenting
- willingness to be photographed
-
Step 1
Learn what colors look best with your skin tone. These will really accentuate your features. And also decide what side you look best at then learn to use this. Use a digital camera and experiment with different angles.
-
Step 2
Tilt your chin down to get rid of any double chin. You can also put your hand under your chin, as if you are resting your head. But don't because this will squish your skin into an unflattering shape.
-
Step 3
Relax. Take deep breaths and try to act natural. Think about someone or something that makes you happy and it will show on your face. Then try to imagine the camera is someone you love coming into the room. All you want is just to look at them forever, this will open your eyes wider and your smile will be real.
-
Step 4
Remember to keep your posture straight. This really will make a difference. Standing up straight will make you look more healthy and alert. If you slouch you will just look like a slob. If you have trouble standing up straight practice in the mirror and everywhere you go. And soon it will become second nature to you.
