Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Things You’ll Need:
Step1
Shut off the hot and cold water supply faucets. Pull the knob out for a few seconds to relieve hose pressure, push it back in.Unplug the washer's electric cord.
Step2
Unscrew the hose fittings at the rear of the washer with pliers. A little water will drain out of the hoses, catch with a towel. Place hoses aside.
Step3
Place hose of shop-vac over the water inlets on back of washer, hot and cold, one at a time. Turn on the vac, tap the side of the inlet lightly with pliers to loosen debris. When clean, do the other one.
Step4
Note which hose is hot or cold, hook up to proper inlet and tighten snuggly with pliers. Do not over-tighten. Turn faucets back on slowly. Check fittings for leaks, tighten a little more if dripping.
Step5
Plug the electric cord back into outlet.
Ready for the next load. Washer should fill up much quicker, now.
