this is an easy way to clean the sulphate off your battery. the sulphate keeps your battery from working at its best, and many times from working at all. this is a homemade solution, and its simple to prepare.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • regular 8 to 12 FL OZ cup
  • table spoon
  • water (3/4 of the cup being used)
  • 5 table spoons of sodium bicarbonate (baking soda)
  1. Step 1

    first you take the cup and fill it with water until is 3/4 full,
    then you add the 5 table spoons of sodium bicarbonate to the cup.

  2. Step 2

    stir a bit just to make sure is well dissolved

  3. Step 3

    pour the mixed water over the battery terminals (you will see a bubbling effect) let it work on the sulphate for about 15 seconds.

  4. Step 4

    when the process is done, pour some natural water on the battery to get all residues off.

Tips & Warnings
  • try not to touch the battery it has acid and can damage your clothes
  • in case of having contact with the battery pour some of the solution made for the battery in the contaminated area, it will neutralize the acids.
