Things You’ll Need:

cat
litter box
scissors
brush
food dish/water dish
clump litter

Step1

Make sure that your cat has a dish for food and a dish for water. If you are bringing home kittens, you will have to train him/her to use their litter boxes. Allow the cat time to get used to your new home or apartment.

Step2

If your cat has long hair, you may want to get a brush out(from a pet store only) this will help get rid of extra hair that they choke on.

Step3

Food, the best food in my opinion is Nutropro. If your cat is over 1 years old, then you should buy cat food for adults. Read the labels, if you are at the grocery store look to see that there are no by-products, these act as fillers, they won't harm your pet but it makes the product cheaper and contains the heads,feat and intestines.

Tips & Warnings

Never change pet food suddenly
start off with about 30% old food,then 60%,90% and 100%
make sure your cat has access to water daily
If your cat does not want to use his/her litter box, this might be a warning that he/she has an infection.
establish a good vet nearby. Make sure he/she gets annual visits and shots
