How to Make Yeast Free Bread

How to Make Yeast Free Bread thumbnail
You don't need a yeast bottle for all bread recipes.

If you are allergic to yeast or are trying to avoid foods with yeast in them, you can find tasty alternatives. The baking and preparation times for many yeast-free breads vary, but sometimes the whole process takes less than an hour. Make sure to let the bread cool for a few minutes once it's out of the oven. This will make it easier to slice. The bread will be softer and not as tall as conventional breads. Does this Spark an idea?

Add the boiling water gradually (a small scoop at a time) and mix. Continue adding the boiling water until you have a paste-like consistency.

Add an egg and 1 teaspoon of baking powder. Continue mixing the ingredients until the dough isn't sticking to the side of the bowl. You can use your hands to mix it or a large wooden spoon.
