Blueberries contain helpful antioxidants.

Start your day with a healthy burst of nutrition from a fruit smoothie. The flavors of blueberry and banana go together surprisingly well and are high in vitamins C and K, fiber and potassium. Use frozen blueberries if they are out of season. If your bananas are getting too ripe to enjoy, peel them and store in the freezer in a zip-close bag to use in smoothies. If you start with frozen fruit, you can reduce the amount of ice in the recipe. Does this Spark an idea?
