How to Play Gold Miner
Gold Miner is a fun game that can be surprisingly challenging! The idea is to cast your line into the pit and try to pull up riches. Gold, gems and all manner of treasure await, but it's not always easy to get at. Add some pesky critters and crates of explosive, and you may not make your quota for the day! Grab your line and let's go Gold Mining!

1
Know what to grab. There are lots of things in Gold Miner than give you money for grabbing them. Gems are the best, since they fetch the highest price and are easy to reel in. Gold is next in line, followed by the grab bags. The grab bags may be worth more than gold, but they may also contain items like Dynamite and Strength bonuses. You take a chance grabbing the bags before the gold, but it can pay off.

2
Be patient. Your claw swings back and forth and your time is limited, so make sure that every cast counts! A few seconds can be the difference between a rich Gold Miner and a poor one. Take a little extra time to make sure you're aiming in the right place. Practice makes perfect!

Use Dynamite! If you snag a rock, you may want to consider blowing it up. Rocks take a long time to reel in and bring in very little cash. To save time, toss a stick of dynamite at the rock to destroy it so you can move on. A good Gold Miner knows what to take and what to leave.

Buy only what you need. The shop keeper in Gold Miner stocks many items, some of which are invaluable, some of which are useful, but not overly. Always stock up on Dynamite, since the last thing you want to do is waste time hauling in giant rocks worth $20. Strength Drinks are also very handy, since they allow your Gold Miner to haul loot up faster!

5
Keep an eye on the groundhogs. Your character isn't the only Gold Miner here! Some groundhogs may be carrying riches in their mouths! If you see any critters with a spot of blue in their mouths, snag them! Those are gems they're carrying, and they're worth more than $600 each!
-
6
Watch where you cast your claw! Later on in the game, barrels of explosives will appear. While they can be helpful sometimes, hitting them when they're near loot will destroy the loot!
-
7
Mine until the clock runs out. See the "Next Level" button at the top? The only reason you've got to hit that is if you've reeled in everything on the level and still have time left. Even if you've made your quota for the day, a good Gold Miner knows to keep working until the last minute!
