Throw a Football Party

Want a kick ass football party and not do very much? Good snacks and great company? Keep reading.....

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Football game ;)
  • TV
  • paper plates
  • ability to read more of my articles
  • napkins
  • Beer
  • friends
  1. Step 1

Check my articles for snacks, ie: guacamole, shrimp ceviche, pizza, rice krispy treats, pigs in a blanket (a big football favorite), nachos and fruit pizza. Get the ingredients needed for the snacks you would like to have for your party.

  2. Step 2

When you are at the store, pick up a veggie tray. They are a lot cheaper than buying all the ingredients and it doesn't take time. The veggie tray also will cut through the grease of the other items you are serving.

  3. Step 3

When you are making the rice krispie treats, add cocoa poweder and shape them in to footballs. Once they have cooled, add a little foot ball line with icing and you have your first foot ball theme.

  4. Step 4

When you are making the fruit pizza, make the design a football field by using kiwi for the grass, the icing for the lines, strawberries for the goal posts and star fruit for the flags! Really cute!!

  5. Step 5

For the pigs in a blanket, cover the ends of the sausage with the dough and take a toothpick and draw the football laces on the dough. Make sure the brown from the sausage shows through and then dip your finger in water and lightly rub over the laces. This will make it keep the shape.

  6. Step 6

Each little addition to the spread that has a football theme will enchance the theme of the party. They sell football shaped chips for the nachos, ceviche, and cheese dip.

  7. Step 7

Since the food has a theme, you don't have to do decorations, this may be over kill. Make sure when guests arrive there is a fresh display of food and beverages... enjoy the game!
