Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1/2 oz. sterling silver wire, 28 gauge (20 yds.)
  • Size 2 steel crochet hook (2.25 mm)
  • 2 sterling silver jump rings
  • 1/2" sterling silver lobster clasp
  1. Step 1

Chain four and join with a slip stitch in the first chain. Work on the inside of the tube now and throughout. Chain one.

  2. Step 2

Single crochet in each chain around but do not join. Work in a spiral with the tube toward the left rotating away.

  3. Step 3

Take care not to crush the tube as it grows. Single crochet in each stitch around for Row 2.

  4. Step 4

Work in the back loop of each stitch, half double-crochet in each stitch around to make Row 3. The works appears to "jump" to the next row at the beginning of each row.

  5. Step 5

Repeat Row 3 until the tube measures 7 1/2" long. Push a pencil or knitting needle into the center of the tube to prevent it from flattening.

  6. Step 6

Work two rows of single crochet to finish. Fasten off. Weave the ends into the center of the tube.

  7. Step 7

Insert a jump ring into the center of the crochet at each end of the bracelet. Secure the lobster claw to one of the jump rings.
