If you enjoy playing poker and want to play online, try PokerStars. It is the biggest online poker website in the world. An easy site to navigate, it gives you the option to play for real money or just for fun. If you are a real pro, you might even be able to make it to the World Series of Poker. Here are a few easy steps for entering a PokerStars tournament.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Download the software from the PokerStars website. Create your login information with your name, address, phone number, username and password.

  2. Step 2

Decide whether to use real or play money. Follow the directions on the site for depositing real money. Send a money order or cashier's check or use one of several online money transfer websites. PokerStars gives you a set amount of play money to start, if you decide to go that route.

  3. Step 3

Enter the main lobby of the website. Decide what kind of gaming tournament to play. After choosing a game such as Texas hold 'em, seven card stud, razz or horse, click on the tab that says "Tourney."

  4. Step 4

Click on the tab of the tournament type to play. The following are a few choices: VIP, regular, satellite, freeroll or special. New games begin every few seconds with varying entry amounts.

  5. Step 5

Pick a tournament to play in and click on your selection. The site asks you to register for that tourney, and the money is taken out of your account. You have the option to withdraw from the event until the game begins.

  6. Step 6

    Begin the tournament.
