- WordPerfect X3 software upgrade
Step1
Check that your WordPerfect software is WordPerfect Office Version 8 or higher. Other products that make you eligible for an upgrade include minimum versions of CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X3, Corel Paint Shop Pro X, Corel Painter IX, Corel Designer 12, Microsoft Office 97 or Microsoft Works Suite 2000.
Step2
Buy the WordPerfect X3 Upgrade version at a mega computer software store or your local office supply retailer. If you meet the minimum requirements in Step 1, load the new software by inserting the CD and follow the prompts. The installation screen should start automatically when you insert the CD.
Step3
Walk through the installation. Answer the questions and perform any steps to complete the process.
Step4
Restart the computer (when you have finished the steps) so all of your additions take effect. Call up some of the features and become acquainted with them. Watch the movie-based tutorial.
Step5
Check the new features in WordPerfect Office X3. Explore the online help files, updated toolbars, separate Corel drawing program and multi-language accented characters that you can use when keying in words from other languages. You also can open documents from other programs.
Step6
Take a few minutes and absorb the help options. Training videos enhance the ources for the comprehensive WordPerfect Office X3 user guide and the web-based help system.
