A Tastefully Simple party is a chance to sample delicious foods and mingle with friends and family. The host of the party chooses the date, time and invitees.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Locate a Tastefully Simple representative in your area. Go to the Tastefully Simple website and use the search tool to find a local representative. Contact the representative and inform her that you'd like to host a Tastefully Simple party.

  2. Step 2

Choose a location for your Tastefully Simple party. While it's common to use your home, if there are space constraints, find a larger venue to host the party. Check local libraries for conference room availability or churches for a banquet room.

  3. Step 3

Send out the Tastefully Simple invitations that you receive from your representative. Include the date, time, and location and explain a Tastefully Simple party for people who aren't familiar with the brand.

  4. Step 4

Prepare for the party by talking with the representative who demonstrates the products. She'll tell you what ingredients to purchase and how much you'll need for the number of guests you've invited. She'll also give you a couple of recipes to make before the party. Set aside room in the kitchen for the representative to prepare additional food samples. Stock up on plenty of paper plates, napkins and cups for your guests to use.

  5. Step 5

Understand that as a host of a Tastefully Simple party you are entitled to rewards. The rewards depend on how much money in product sales your party generates.

Tips & Warnings
  • The more Tastefully Simple parties you host, the more rewards you earn.

on 11/15/2009 I love their beer bread - and you can make it with any carbonated beverage. I made some with ginger ale tonight and my two toddlers ate it up!!! It is really really good. I actually agreed to host my first party in december - am hoping to earn some credits for free food. They said the average party is $800 and that gets the host around $125 in free products. 20 people....$40 average order....I can see that happening. ( but I wont cry if somebody goes to the tastefully simple website and looks up my name....and orders something...and gives me the host points! )
