The radish is an abundant vegetable because it is one of the easiest to grow. Radishes contain Vitamin C and are said to be good for colds and other illnesses. Finding different ways to use radishes can be tricky, but if you have a radish rose cutting tool, your radishes can become garnishes for all your meals.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Wash the radish and make sure to remove all dirt. Use a clean dish cloth or small soft brush to get dirt out of any stubborn cracked areas.

  2. Step 2

Cut a small slice off both ends of the radish so you have two flat ends. If the radish isn't too big for the cutter, trim the sides off the radish with a paring knife.

  3. Step 3

Place the radish in the rose cutter and press the handles together to cut through the radish. Pull the handles apart and take the radish out of the cutter.

  4. Step 4

Drop the radish rose into a bowl of ice water. Let it sit in ice water for 30 minutes, and watch as the radish petals bloom into a beautiful rose.

  5. Step 5

Garnish your favorite salads or vegetable trays with the radish roses.

  6. Step 6

Wash the radish rose cutting tool in warm soapy water. Rinse and towel dry immediately.

Tips & Warnings
