Home schooling can be rewarding, but sometimes it's also a lonely task. If you don't have support, you'll find yourself longingly looking out the window of your living room as the big yellow bus passes by your house. What's a parent to do? You need support.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Find others who homeschool. If you are taking on the brave task of homeschooling your child(ren), you probably know a few people who are doing the same. Don't be afraid to ask if they belong to a Christian support group, or if they know of one. It is not a sign of weakness; it is a sign of a smart woman who recognizes her needs.

  2. Step 2

Look to the church where you attend worship services. Several churches offer Christian homeschooling support groups. If your church does not offer a group, call other churches to find out what they might offer.

  3. Step 3

Go to your local library to see if the community board displays notices for Christian homeschooling support groups.

  4. Step 4

Research online for Christian homeschooling support groups in your area. Several websites will point you in the right direction.

  5. Step 5

Start your own Christian homeschooling support group. The other groups had someone start theirs, so why not start one.
