1
Gather all of your drawing tools to begin drawing your manga. Pencils, paper, fine tipped markers or high quality colored pencils will be best for this particular style.
-
2
Begin drawing the head. Draw a circle, then draw a cross in the middle of the circle 3/4 of the way down. This cross will be the starting point for eyes, noses and lips. Fill in the rest of the features according to the cross inside the circle. For profiles, move the location of the cross in the middle of the head.

3
Sketch the eyes of the Manga character. Research which method you prefer to draw the Manga eyes. Since there are a few to choose from, look at your favorite Manga punk cartoons to find one that suits you best. Draw a long arching line for the top lid and a shorter lid to make the eyes bigger and more dramatic, no matter the method.

Consult your favorite Manga comic for reference on how to draw the body in various poses, but don't draw the clothing quite yet. Try drawing the body using simple strokes, as though drawing a stick man. This simple style will help you with the form and movement of the figure.

5
Finally go through and draw the hair. The style should be bold and edgy, like punk rock or mohawks with wild colors. Draw the clothing as well, using punk rock as a reference. Fill in the details of the stick figure you drew for the body and add clothing to match the punk style.
