Step 1
Go to the Grocery Game web site and sign up for a four-week trial for $1.00. You will need to provide your credit card information and will be billed the regular cost--about $10 for every eight weeks for one store. If you subscribe for two local stores, you'll pay $15 for eight weeks. After signing up for the trial period, check your email for login information.
-
Step 2
Login to the site and you will be in the "Player's Entrance" Section. Click on and read the Game Rules for each store on your list. It is important to read these sections because they give you the inside scoop on how to utilize Terri's List for those stores. You need to know the individual aspects of each store's sales cycles and coupon policies to play the Grocery Game.
-
Step 3
Clip coupons from the Sunday papers every week. Ask family members or neighbors for their extra coupon inserts if they don't play the Grocery Game or clip coupons. For additional coupons to purchase extra items, buy coupons for a small handling fee online. Try the Coupon Clippers and the Coupon Master.
-
Step 4
Read Terri's List each week to play the Grocery Game at your grocery store. Grab the coupons you need for that week's purchases, print your list and head to the store.
-
Step 5
Shop for food using your Grocery Game store list, stockpiling super-cheap grocery items as per your list.
-
Step 6
Join the forum on the Grocery Game website to gain tips, learn strategies and share in the excitement of saving money in your grocery budget.
