The following steps will show you how to find rare and hard-to-locate Pokemon collector's cards.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Computer
  • Internet access
  1. Step 1

Look on eBbay for the card you want. There you can find many rare Pokemon cards through the eBay stores or through individual auction listings. Often you can find these cards sold in lots for reasonable prices.

  2. Step 2

Browse other online auction sites to search for rare Pokemon cards.

  3. Step 3

Check out a local collector store to see if they have any hard-to-find Pokemon cards. If you want to save yourself the time of driving from store to store in search of your card, check the yellow pages or online for collector stores and give them a call before making the trek to the store.

Tips & Warnings
  • If you can't find the card you are looking for on eBay, just be patient and keep checking every now and again. Eventually it is bound to show up in a listing.
  • Examine the pictures of the Pokemon cards available from auction sites to check their condition. Make sure the description says that the card is in "mint" condition before making your purchase. "Good" condition means okay condition and this term is relative so only purchase "mint" condition items. If you purchase something in "good" condition, you may end up with a card that has marks or bends in it.
