Located in sunny San Diego, California, the University of San Diego is a Catholic university that offers more than just nice weather. The University of San Diego focuses on academic excellence by offering small class sizes and an established honors program. Here is how you can get the most out of a visit to the University of San Diego.

Step1
Go on a student-guided campus tour. These tours are available Monday through Friday at 10 a.m. and 1.30 p.m. year-round. You will begin with a half-hour information session followed by 1 ½-hour walking tour of the USD campus. Sign up for a campus tour with the online tour sign-up form on the USD website, or call (800) 248-4873 to arrange your visit.
Step2
Take a Saturday tour of the University of San Diego. Saturday tours are offered on select Saturdays between November and April. The tours are offered at 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. Call the Admissions Office at (800) 248-4873 for tour dates and to set up your tour.
Step3
Visit the campus on your own terms. If you cannot fit one of the scheduled campus tours into your schedule or you just want to visit the University of San Diego with no pressure, print out a map of the campus and tour it yourself. The university has a view of the Pacific coast and offers some impressive Spanish Renaissance architecture. You are also invited to dine in one of the campus' dining facilities or grab a drink in the coffee shop Aromas while you are on campus.
Step4
Explore San Diego. The oldest city in California, San Diego is known for its perfect weather, miles of beaches and numerous outdoor activities. The University of San Diego is about 15 minutes from downtown. The world-famous San Diego Zoo and Old Town are just minutes away from USD.
