Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Step1
Take a campus tour of the University of Central Arkansas. A campus tour will introduce you to the facilities and campus life at UCA. Campus tours are offered Monday through Friday during the school year at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m., and on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 11 a.m. during the summer. To schedule a tour, call (800) 243-8245 or email jkyle@uca.edu.
Step2
Visit a Bear Fact Day at the University of Central Arkansas. Bear Fact Days will give you the opportunity to meet students, faculty and staff as well as explore the camps. Bear Fact Days are open to all prospective students and you can find dates for the events on the UCA website. Call (800) 243-8245 to set up a visit to the University of Central Arkansas.
Step3
Print a campus map from the University of Central Arkansas website and take a self-guided tour of UCA. You can find several different maps on the UCA website and you can take your tour whenever it is convenient to you.
Step4
Check out some of the content of the UCA website. You can find a few viewbooks, information about the school and even an aerial tour. This will help you be more acquainted with the university before you visit.
Step5
Spend a little time exploring Conway and the surrounding area. Conway is located south of the Ozarks and north of the capital of Little Rock, so there is quite a bit to do in the surrounding area for both nature enthusiasts and city folk. Conway is the fastest growing city in Arkansas and you should make sure it fits you as well as the university before you make a college decision.
