Let's face it; snowboarding is more fun when done as part of a group activity. This means that, if you like snowboarding, you may want to join a snowboarding club. Although there are hundreds of snowboarding clubs in existence, there are a few different ways that you can find the one that's a good match for you.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy
Step1
Determine your own level of skill. Decide if you are a great snowboarder or if you need a lot of mentoring. This is important because some snowboarding clubs only take high-caliber snowboarders and others are open to members of all skill levels.
Step2
Look in your community's Parks and Recreation Guide for a local snowboarding club. If there is one or more offered through the community, then you might want to try working with these groups to see if you can find a good match.
Step3
Check the bulletin board at your local snowboarding facility. If there is a club organized at the facility, it will likely be advertised on one of the bulletin boards. There may be outside clubs advertising there as well.
Step4
Call the contact numbers you found to see if there is a similarity between your skill level and the club's requirements.
Step5
Find a large group of snowboarders and ask if they belong to a club. It might be a club that doesn't advertise, but one that is still taking on new members.
