Decide who will operate the karaoke machine and bring him along to the rental company. Get a thorough explanation from company associates on how to set up, run and put away the karaoke machine. Ask if the company provides a short tutorial or mini-classes. Also, get the company's contact information so you can call them later if you run into any problems.

Ask the rental facility about their damage policy. You'll want to know what to expect if someone accidentally spills a drink on the machine and it stops working. Find out about the company's refund policy, too. See if you'll get any money back if the machine doesn't perform as promised.
