How to Use Clue Finders Software

Clue Finders is a series of software programs aimed at helping kids learn reading and math. The adventures take the child through online exercises in reading or math and by finding clues they solve the problem or mystery. Clue Finders also makes use of logic and deductive reasoning in the search to solve the mystery. Kids won't be able to stop playing until they solve the quest.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Choose which software program you are interested in using. Clue Finders has assorted adventures ranging in ages and levels from third to sixth grade.

  2. Step 2

    Check the system requirements to make sure you have what it takes to run Clue Finders. The software runs on Windows 95, 98 and the newer editions and also on Mac OS 8.6-9x.

  3. Step 3

    Play Clue Finders with your kids to see how it works. Press the online hints to see what they do and practice using the tools for each game.

  4. Step 4

    Follow the plot of the particular story in the Clue Finders you are playing. Playing will involve problem solving as well as remembering what was done. Each step forward will use previous steps, so your child learns to develop these skills while enjoying the play.

  5. Step 5

    Solve the mystery and advance to the next level of play. Your child will now visit a new land complete with new puzzles to solve and new challenges to face. If he does get stuck he can use the online hints by clicking on animated online coaches to get help with the problem.
